I’ve always had a fondness for fiber arts in all forms: embroidery, felting and sewing to name a few. the fiber arts are not only rooted in feminine power, but are a political stance as well. From messages to dyes, thread has woven many meanings together. I find this piecing together of ideas (especially from the discarded and old) to be a powerful medium to transcend ideas across generations, societal classes and genders.
